Resources for Educators: Microsoft Tools

Updated: Mar 31, 2020

The Microsoft Education Center is always full of incredible #free information and self-paced trainers to support educators as they create their own professional learning pathways.

These are the top resources from Microsoft to support you now through distance learning and into the future as we return to teaching in our classrooms.

Microsoft Tools that are excellent for collaboration, online and in-class learning that I highly recommend checking out are Microsoft Teams, Skype (both for professional use and Skype in the Classroom to use with your students), Microsoft OneNote.

There are so many features and options for supports within these systems, this is my favorite system to use for its incredible #accessibility features. If you have Sped and 504 students, these are some wonderful tools to look into. If you want to learn more I highly recommend their inclusive classroom course, again all courses on the Microsoft Education Center are #FREE.

These included 1-pager and FAQ guides are the best of the best from the Microsoft team, especially if you want to learn about all the accessibility features you can find throughout the Microsoft products, this is a great link to save.

I have loved being part of the Microsoft Educator community for about three years now, I recommend learning about all their educator programs as it provides you with an incredible window to the company and learning how to best use Microsoft tools for our 21st century classrooms. I'd love to share my experience if you have any questions.
